Orders & shipping

How long until my candle ships?

Every Piedalu candle is made to order and ships from our California studio within 5–7 business days. You'll get an email with your tracking number the moment it leaves. Delays can happen during peak holiday seasons. See our Shipping Policy for details.

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes. Orders of $100 or more ship free. Choose any two candles and they're $50 each, which brings you right to $100.

Returns & damaged items

What is your return policy?

We accept returns of unused candles in their original packaging within 7 days of delivery, for a full refund excluding original shipping. Because of the nature of candles, we can't accept returns on candles that have been lit. Full details are in our Refund Policy.

My candle arrived damaged. What do I do?

We're sorry. Email hello@piedalu.com within 7 days of delivery with a clear photo of the damage and we'll send a replacement. If you received the wrong item, let us know within 7 days and we'll make it right.

The candles

What are your candles made of?

A proprietary coconut wax blend with a 12% fragrance load, poured into heavy flint glass the color of warm honey. Each candle is 8 oz / 227 g and burns for approximately 50 to 60 hours.

Why does each scent come in a different box?

Every scent has its own color-coded, textured rigid box, so you can find your favorite at a glance and give it as a gift without wrapping.

A scent says Coming Soon. When will it be available?

New and returning scents are announced to our email list first. Write to hello@piedalu.com and we'll let you know the moment it's ready.

Candle care

How do I get the best burn?

Trim the wick before every use and remove the trimmings. Burn for at least an hour each time so the wax melts evenly. Place your candle on a clean, flat surface away from drafts, children and pets, and never leave a lit candle unattended.

Wholesale

Can I carry Piedalu in my shop?

We'd love that. Read our Wholesale Terms, then place a wholesale order or send a stockist inquiry.
